•		Class Reunion Coming Soon! Tour Of Newly Renovated AHS Planned ...Mark Lapointe In Concert Our class reunion will be Saturday, September 13 at the Amesbury Sports park. Tickets are $35.00 per person and can be ordered through this web site. Select the 25 year reunion link on the left side of the main web page to order tickets - pay by check or credit card. The final date for ordering tickets is Friday, September 5. The party will happen from 7:00 pm to 11:00 pm - dress casually for an evening of great conversation, music, and food. On Friday evening, September 12 at 6:00 pm, members of the Class of 1983 are welcome to take a tour of the newly renovated Amesbury High School. We'll meet in front of the school and Ralph Noon has agreed to show us around the new facility - it's not the same high school we went to. No need to sign up - just show up. Later on Friday evening, classmate Mark LaPointe will be performing a benefit concert CD release party at the Amesbury Playhouse. Tickets are $10.00 at the door - more info below.

•		Ticket information - tickets for our upcoming reunion are now available for purchase through this web site. Select the 25th Reunion button on the left hand side of the home page and fill out the registration form. You have two ways to pay: 1) By credit card - we have established an account with Paypal so that you may pay using most major credit cards. You do not need to have a Paypal account to do this. Paypal Payment is performed by clicking the "Pay Now" button at the end of step 3 of the registration process. After registering for the reunion and paying by credit card, you will receive two automated messages from the website - one to acknowledge that you registered to attend the reunion and another acknowledging your order of the tickets through the web site. Please print a copy of your Paypal receipt at the end of the credit card payment process. 2) By check or cash - if you prefer to pay by personal check or cash, please register for the event using the 25 year reunion link but don't click on the "Pay Now" button at the end of step 3. Instead, please send a check for the full amount written out to Amesbury High Class of 1983. Please send the check to: Newburyport Five Cent Savings Bank, c/o Scott Terry, 43 Main Street, Amesbury, MA 01913. You can also drop off a cash payment in person to Scott at the bank - do not send cash in the mail. You will receive an email acknowledging the receipt of your check and this will act as your ticket(s). Please order your tickets as soon as possible - it really helps out with the planning. Thanks.

•		WE WANT TO SEE YOUR PHOTOS! Attention Class of 83. We’re putting together a slide show for the class reunion and need your help. Have old photos no one has seen? A favorite moment in AHS history you’d like to share? Send your prom pictures, pit party pictures, you name it....we’re looking for it. You can go as far back in time as you’d like. Do you have a 1^st Grade class photo? Got a boot camp picture lying around? Send that too. You name it.....before high school, after high school, with your family, etc....(you get the idea) If you are able to scan the photos please email them to nonni_f@comcast.net . •		In search of the members of the class of 1983 We are working hard to try to contact all members of our class and make them aware of news about the upcoming reunion. Registering on the web site is the easiest way for people to stay up-to-date with what's going on with the planning. Every class member reading this is urged to make contact with anyone in our class who is not yet registered on the site and pursuade them to sign on. This is something everyone can participate in. Make it your personal goal to contact at least 1 person and let them know about the site !

•		Mark LaPointe and Friends in Concert Hello Class of 1983, I will be in Amesbury for 2 shows in September. On Friday, September 12th I will be having a CD release/Cancer Society fundraiser at the Amesbury Playhouse. I will be sharing the stage again after many years with my old pals John Pelletier, Mark Lickteig and Danny Wilson. Doors will open at 7:30 with a warm up band going on at 8:00 and then I will go on at 9:00. Everything should wrap up by 10:30. I guess there will be something light to nibble on and there will be a cash bar. Admission will be $10.00 per person, with all proceeds going to the Relay for Life. CDs will be available for sale that night. The following day we will be at Landry Stadium as part of the Relay for Life schedule of events (not sure of the time yet). I hope some of you can make it!
